  • Mix everything together
  • If you'd like, you can dissolve the salt and sugar in a small saucepan over low to medium heat.

Notes

  • You can omit the salt and sugar. The salt is pretty nice to have though, especially for pickling any vegetables.
  • You can also add other little bits and bobs, like garlic, dill, mustard seeds, and so on.
  • Using citrus juice, or adding a little citrus zest, can be a nice touch.
