Method

  • Blend everything together
  • Pour over two ice cubes, let it sit for a second
  • Clean the blender before you start drinking, so much easier
  • Serve and enjoy!

Notes

  • Loosely based on a recipe from Molly Katzen's amazing cookbook, Pretend Soup
  • Note there's lots you can add in here if you want, to pep it up! A few optional examples...
  • frozen spinach - for better or worse you can barely taste it
  • ground flax - a half teaspoon is a nice amount!
  • spoonful of almond butter - great for getting some extra calories from healthy fats
  • spoonful of yogurt - nice if you like a little tang and probiotics
